Energy projects
from development to delivery

PV Consulting is a Czech developer and investor in energy infrastructure projects. Our core business is the development, construction and long-term operation of wind energy projects.

Alongside wind energy, we are developing projects in energy storage and flexibility, as well as data centres and their integration with energy infrastructure.
In the data centre sector, our focus is on identifying and developing sites where power availability, grid infrastructure, data connectivity and opportunities for heat reuse can create a strong basis for future data centre operations.

We manage the entire project development process – from site identification and technical due diligence, securing land rights and connections to power and data networks through permitting, financing and project delivery.

Depending on the project, we act as:

  • an investor and long-term asset owner,
  • a co-developer with an industrial or capital partner,
  • or a developer preparing a project for its future operator or investor.

Wind Energy

Wind energy is the core area of our business. We develop projects from initial site assessment through construction to long-term operation.

Our activities typically include:

  • identification of suitable sites and assessment of wind potential,
  • securing land rights,
  • engagement with municipalities and landowners,
  • grid connection,
  • spatial planning and permitting,
  • EIA and environmental studies,
  • engineering, financing and construction,
  • operation and asset management.

A modern wind turbine with a capacity of approximately 4–6 MW can generate tens of GWh of emission-free electricity annually at a suitable location while requiring only a limited permanent land footprint.

Partnerships with municipalities and landowners

We develop our projects as long-term partnerships with the communities and areas in which they are located.

We offer affected municipalities long-term economic benefits linked to the operation of the wind turbines and, where appropriate, explore opportunities for local energy sharing or preferential access to locally generated electricity.

Do you own land in a suitable wind location, or do you represent a municipality considering wind energy development? Contact us.

Modern Energy Projects

The transformation of the energy sector is creating new opportunities at the intersection of power generation, flexibility, energy storage, consumption and heat.

Alongside wind energy, we develop selected projects in new energy infrastructure where we can apply our experience in grid connection, permitting and the development of technically complex sites.

Our areas of focus include:

  • battery energy storage and power-system flexibility,
  • flexible generation and energy solutions for industrial users,
  • energy brownfields and sites with high-quality energy infrastructure,
  • utilisation of waste heat and low-temperature heat sources.

Depending on the project, our role may include direct development and investment, joint development with an energy or industrial partner, or preparing the project for a long-term operator or investor.

Data Centres and Energy Integration

The growth of artificial intelligence, cloud services and digitalisation is driving demand for new data centre infrastructure.

Increasingly, the development of new capacity depends on access to sufficient power, resilient grid infrastructure, high-quality data connectivity, suitable sites and efficient energy solutions.

PV Consulting identifies and develops sites for data centres and AI/HPC infrastructure in the Czech Republic.

We combine our experience in energy project development, grid connections, permitting and technically complex site development with a detailed assessment of power availability, fibre connectivity and opportunities for integration with existing energy infrastructure.

Depending on the project and the requirements of the future operator, our role may include site identification and technical screening, securing land rights, grid connection development, fibre connectivity assessment, permitting and preparation of the site for a future data centre operator or investment partner.

Data Centres and District Heating

A specific area of our work is the integration of data centres with district heating networks and industrial energy systems.

Modern data centres generate significant quantities of recoverable heat.

At suitable locations, we therefore develop projects where this heat can become a new local energy source for district heating networks or industrial consumers.

The increasing adoption of direct liquid cooling in high-density AI and HPC infrastructure is improving both the quantity and usable temperature of recoverable heat, creating new opportunities for efficient heat reuse.

Similar integration of data centres and district heating networks is already being developed across a number of European cities.

Partnerships

We work with owners of energy and industrial sites, district heating operators, electricity distribution companies, telecommunications providers, data centre operators and infrastructure investors.

For individual sites, we provide technical and commercial project assessment and develop an appropriate partnership and project delivery structure.
